In
October of 1993, Dr. Arielle S. Lee extended her Medical Oncology and Hematology
services to the Jacksonville/Cherokee Country area. In conjunction with
East Texas Medical Center Jacksonville, formerly Nan Travis Hospital, Dr.
Lee operated a weekly clinic providing patients with physician, lab and
later chemotherapy services.
In 2002, the decision
was made to operate the weekly clinic independent of ETMC. In doing so,
Dr. Michael Y. Ashigbi began a weekly clinic to meet the growing needs
of our patients. Currently located on the fourth floor of the hospital,
Jacksonville Hematology Oncology anticipates relocating to an office
in the adjoining medical professional building.
