(Excluding training experiences)
In USA
- As a practicing Hematologist/Oncologist in USA , I saw and treated different kinds of neoplastic and hematological problems especially coagulopathies.
In Burma
As a family practitioner in Danubyu and as a Civil Surgeon at Taungdwingyi and Sunparabun from 1974 through 1978, I have a broad experience on primary care at secondary health centers.
I treated a wide array of medical conditions. Particularly prevalent conditions in my practice were malaria, diarrheal diseases, round worm and hook warm infestations, childhood malnutrition (Kwarshiorkor and marusmus), typhoid fever, tuberculosis, and other tropical diseases.
I have done emergency surgeries including at least 30 cases of appendectomy, about 20 cases of perforated peptic ulcers, 3 cases of exploratory laporotomies for gun-shot wound, a few incarcerated hernias, and many others. (MORE >>)
